Any other MCP client
LotsSocial is a remote MCP server over streamable HTTP. Clients that support OAuth discover sign-in on their own from the URL above. Clients that only accept a header can use an API key from the API dashboard, sent as Authorization: Bearer <key>. The same tools are available as REST endpoints; read the API docs.
Questions
Get your agent connected.Your setup questions, answered.
How do I get my AI agent to schedule social media posts?
Give your agent https://lots.social/skill.md and ask it to help connect LotsSocial for you. It explains how to add the MCP server or use the REST API in your environment. Then ask it for a social-account connection link, authorize your accounts in the browser, and ask it to prepare drafts or schedule posts.
Does LotsSocial work with my agent?
Agents with remote streamable HTTP MCP support can use https://api.lots.social/mcp. Agents with HTTP or computer access can use the REST API with an API key. Some clients need a local bridge, a particular plan or administrator permission. Choose your guide below for the requirements; a listing is not a guarantee that every version or plan supports connections.
Do I need to install a skill or configure MCP myself?
The setup instructions are a Markdown document you can give your agent by URL. They do not automatically install a connector or authorize access. Ask your agent to guide you through the steps for its environment. If you already know how to add a remote MCP server, copy the MCP URL and connect directly.
How do I sign in and connect my social accounts?
OAuth-capable MCP clients open LotsSocial sign-in during setup. Clients that use bearer credentials and REST integrations require an API key from https://api.lots.social/dashboard. Once connected, ask your agent for a social-account connection link and complete authorization on the platform’s own page. Never paste your social passwords into the chat.
Which social platforms can my agent publish to?
LotsSocial supports 12 networks: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Reddit and Google Business. Formats and analytics vary by platform and account type. Your agent can prepare posts for multiple connected accounts, with captions and media adapted for each destination.
Will my posts publish after I close my agent?
Yes. Once LotsSocial accepts a scheduled post, its publishing queue handles delivery without keeping your agent open. Keep the accounts authorized and funded. Ask your agent for publishing status and results, or check the LotsSocial calendar.
Can I review posts before they publish?
Yes. Tell your agent to create drafts first. Drafts do not publish; scheduled posts enter the publishing queue. You can edit, reschedule or cancel before publishing begins. Set your review preferences in your agent’s instructions rather than assuming every tool call requires approval.
Do I need a subscription or a credit card to get started?
No subscription is required. Eligible new users receive free credits with no card required, valid for 90 days. Credits pay for connected accounts not covered by a plan, charged daily. Posts, media storage, brands, workspaces and team members are unlimited. Purchased credits never expire; your agent’s own AI costs are separate. See the pricing calculator for current rates.
Can I use the REST API in my app or automation?
Yes. Create an API key in the API dashboard and give your coding agent https://api.lots.social/docs.md for endpoint and authentication instructions. The REST API supports accounts, drafts, scheduling, media and analytics. Use https://api.lots.social/docs for the interactive documentation.
Can I switch agents without reconnecting all my social accounts?
Your social connections, posts and media belong to your LotsSocial workspace. Connect another compatible agent to the same LotsSocial account and select the same workspace to access them. Each agent still needs its own authorized connection or API credentials.
