Schedule Social Media Posts with Muse
Muse can create custom connectors for services it does not list. Give it LotsSocial’s API reference and MCP endpoint so it can prepare a publishing connection for your accounts.
Eligible new users get free credits, valid for 90 days. No card required.
Example workflow
“Create a custom LotsSocial connector from its API documentation. Use this approved menu to save next week’s Instagram drafts, and ask before scheduling.”
Menu-based drafts saved through the custom connector you configure.
Business material becomes a reviewable social plan
01
Ask for a custom connector
Muse’s custom-connector flow starts in the conversation. Share the LotsSocial API documentation and remote endpoint; let Muse guide the setup.
02
Complete its credential request
Use Muse’s Secure Credentials Store when authentication is needed. The LotsSocial connection is not presented as a built-in Meta connector.
03
Review the content and schedule
Ask for drafts first and check Muse’s action-approval settings. Scheduling is a separate instruction after you review the saved posts.
What can Muse do with LotsSocial?
With a compatible connection, your agent can save drafts, schedule posts with images or video, manage connected accounts and retrieve available analytics. LotsSocial handles the publishing schedule; your agent supplies the content and instructions.
Supported networks: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Google Business, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon. Platform-specific formats and media requirements still apply.
You need
- Muse, where it is available
- A LotsSocial account, which is created when you first sign in. No card required.
Connect Muse to LotsSocial
- 1
Ask Muse to add LotsSocial
Ask Muse to create a custom connector for LotsSocial. Share this endpoint and the API documentation at https://lots.social/api.md. Muse guides the setup and asks for the authentication it needs.

When Muse asks how the server authenticates, choose sign-in. If it asks for a key instead, create one at https://api.lots.social/dashboard and paste it into Muse’s credential prompt, never into the chat.
- 3
Set approval for posting
In Muse settings you can require approval for every action a connector takes. Keep it on for actions that schedule posts.
What to ask next
- “Connect my LinkedIn and Instagram”
- “Plan next week’s posts from my calendar and save them as drafts”
Once connected, when you ask to connect an account, your agent gives you a link to open in your browser. Approve access on the network’s own page; the link works for an hour.
If something goes wrong
- Muse cannot reach the server
- Check the URL ends in /mcp and that Muse chose HTTP, not a local command.
Official setup documentation: Meta: Muse custom connectors.
MCP or REST API: use the connection your agent supports.
The remote MCP endpoint is shared. For scripts or an agent with HTTP tools, use the REST API and an API key.
