Schedule Social Media Posts with Cue
Give your Cue agent responsibility for your social media. Connect it to the LotsSocial REST API to save drafts, schedule posts across 12 platforms and check results.
Eligible new users get free credits, valid for 90 days. No card required.
Example workflow
“Your responsibility is to prepare social drafts from my approved updates. Save drafts in LotsSocial, send me the list and schedule only after I approve.”
Your social agent saves the drafts and schedules the versions you approve.
One Cue agent for your social posting routine
01
Connect from the agent’s computer
Give Cue the LotsSocial API reference and configure your key privately for its computer. Start by asking it to list the accounts you have connected.
02
Use the published tool interface
Ask Cue to use the REST API for your posts and media. Each request signs in with your LotsSocial API key; your social-network passwords stay with their own authorization pages.
03
Give the agent a clear boundary
Once connected, define its source material and responsibility. Ask for drafts as the deliverable until you approve a publication schedule.
What can Cue do with LotsSocial?
With a compatible connection, your agent can save drafts, schedule posts with images or video, manage connected accounts and retrieve available analytics. LotsSocial handles the publishing schedule; your agent supplies the content and instructions.
Supported networks: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Google Business, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon. Platform-specific formats and media requirements still apply.
You need
- Cue access with an agent computer
- A LotsSocial API key
- A LotsSocial account, which is created when you first sign in. No card required.
Connect Cue to LotsSocial
- 1
Create a LotsSocial API key
Sign in to the Lots API dashboard and create a key for your publishing workflow.

Ask Cue to use the LotsSocial API
Give your agent the setup prompt below. Configure your key privately in its computer environment and ask it to read your connected accounts before creating a post.
Use https://lots.social/api.md to connect LotsSocial from your computer. Authenticate with my privately configured LOTSSOCIAL_API_KEY. First list my connected social accounts. Keep credentials out of chat and logs. - 3
Give the agent its social media responsibility
Specify the brands, source material, networks and posting frequency. Ask for saved drafts and a review summary. When you approve the content, ask Cue to schedule it in LotsSocial.
What to ask next
- “List my connected social accounts”
- “Draft a launch post for LinkedIn and X; save both as drafts for me to review”
Once connected, when you ask to connect an account, your agent gives you a link to open in your browser. Approve access on the network’s own page; the link works for an hour.
If something goes wrong
- Cue cannot authenticate to LotsSocial
- Check that the API key is available on the computer doing the task. LotsSocial API requests use an Authorization header containing Bearer followed by a space and the key.
- How do I set up a recurring posting routine in Cue?
- Set the routine on the Cue agent responsible for your social media. Include the source material and ask for saved drafts. LotsSocial publishes the posts that Cue successfully schedules.

MCP or REST API: use the connection your agent supports.
The remote MCP endpoint is shared. For scripts or an agent with HTTP tools, use the REST API and an API key.
