MCP server

The social media MCP server for 12 networks

LotsSocial’s social media MCP server lets you connect, schedule, publish and track posts on 12 networks from the AI agent you already use, and in the dashboard. Add https://api.lots.social/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any remote MCP client, sign in once, and your agent gets tools for accounts, posts, media and analytics.

Start with 5,000 free credits. No card required. Valid for 90 days.

Ask your agent

“List my connected social accounts on LotsSocial, then save this announcement as a draft for LinkedIn and X.”

How it works with your AI agent

  1. 1

    Add the server URL

Add https://api.lots.social/mcp as a remote MCP server in your agent. Each agent has its own steps; the setup guides cover Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and more.

  2. 2

    Sign in once

The server uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your agent opens a LotsSocial sign-in; a new account is created on the spot with free credits. Agents that need a key use an API key instead.

  3. 3

    Connect accounts and post

Ask your agent to connect a network. It returns a link; you approve access on the network’s own page. Then ask for drafts, schedules and results.

How it works in the dashboard

The full dashboard does the same job hands-on: your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

  1. 1

    See what your agent did

Every post your agent saves shows in the dashboard’s posts list and calendar, with its status per network.

  2. 2

Work by hand when you want

The composer, calendar, bulk scheduling, media library and analytics do the same job hands-on: your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

  3. 3

    Manage keys and billing

Create API keys for scripts at api.lots.social/dashboard, and check plans and credits under Billing.

Facts

  • One hosted endpoint: https://api.lots.social/mcp, with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE.
  • The REST API and its OpenAPI 3.0 spec are generated from the same tool registry, so MCP and REST cannot drift.
  • Tools cover posts (create, bulk create up to 50, validate, update, cancel), accounts and connect links, media uploads, brands, workspaces, analytics, follower counts and billing.
  • 12 networks: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Google Business, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon.
  • Plans start at $20 a month for 12 connected accounts, or pay $2 per connected account per month from credits, charged daily. Media storage, posts, brands, workspaces and team members are unlimited.

MCP server questions

What is a social media MCP server?
An MCP server gives an AI agent tools it can call. The LotsSocial MCP server gives your agent tools to connect social accounts, save drafts, schedule and publish posts with media, and read results across 12 networks.
Which agents can use it?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with write tools, including Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and ChatGPT on plans that support custom MCP servers with write actions (developer mode). Agents that only make HTTP requests can use the REST API with an API key. Each guide at lots.social/agents has the exact steps.
Does my agent see my social media passwords?
No. You approve access on each network’s own page. Access tokens are encrypted by LotsSocial with AES-256-GCM before they are stored, and they never reach your browser or what the MCP server returns to agents.
Can my agent check a post before scheduling it?
Yes. The validate_social_post tool checks a post against every network rule without saving it: caption limits, required media, size, format, video length and aspect ratio.
Do I need a subscription to use the MCP server?
No. MCP and REST access come with every option. Choose a plan for a block of accounts, or pay per connected account with credits.
