MCP server & REST API

Run your social media from your own agent.

Connect your compatible AI agent through MCP, or build an integration with the REST API. Create drafts, schedule posts and check results on 12 networks. OAuth-enabled MCP clients guide you through sign-in; REST integrations use an API key.

What your agent can do

Schedule posts, manage accounts and read results. From your agent or your own integration.

Use the capabilities below through MCP or the REST API. The generated reference covers authentication, request fields and responses. Give its markdown version to your coding agent to build an integration.

Publishing and scheduling

Create drafts or schedule posts across 12 networks, including batches, per-platform captions, rescheduling and cancellation.

Connected accounts and brands

Find the accounts available in your workspace, organize them into unlimited brands, check connection health and disconnect accounts you no longer need.

Media

Upload images and videos from a link or straight from your agent’s computer, manage the library and attach media to posts. Platform compatibility is checked before publishing.

Analytics

Read post and account results where the network and account permissions support them, and find your best-performing posts.

Platform guidance

Read platform playbooks so your agent can adapt its posts to the destination network.

Review first

Save drafts when you want to check posts before they go out, then schedule them. Drafts never publish, and drafts or scheduled posts can be deleted until they are sent.

Workspaces

Create and rename workspaces to keep accounts, brands, media and posts organized.

Connect and top up

Get a secure account connection link, check your credit balance and receive a link to buy credits without leaving your agent.

No lock-in

Billed on what you hold.

Connected accounts bill at a flat $2 per account per month, charged daily on what you actually hold — not on calls, posts, storage or seats. Purchased credits never expire, so an idle month costs you nothing but the accounts you keep.

Checked before it is queued.

MCP and REST go through the same validation as the dashboard: caption limits and required media are checked before a post is scheduled, so a bad post fails while your agent is still there to fix it. Drafts never publish; only a post with a scheduled time goes out.

Credit pricing

The same credits for MCP and API.No subscription required.

Pay for the social accounts you connect and the media you store. Posts, workspaces and team members are unlimited. Start with free credits, then top up when you need more.

Questions

The short answers.Asked of us, and of your agent.

Does LotsSocial have an MCP server?
Yes. It is hosted at https://api.lots.social/mcp and supports compatible clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, OpenClaw and Hermes Agent and other compatible clients. Clients that support remote MCP with OAuth guide you through browser sign-in. Other clients may need an API key or local bridge; use the individual setup guide at https://lots.social/agents.
Does LotsSocial have a REST API?
Yes. MCP and REST work with the same accounts, posts, media and publishing validation. The base URL is https://api.lots.social and requests authenticate with an API key sent as an Authorization Bearer token or an X-API-Key header. The full endpoint reference and an OpenAPI 3.0 spec are published at https://api.lots.social/docs.
What can an agent actually do through it?
Create drafts, schedule, reschedule and cancel posts across 12 networks; list accounts, create brands and move accounts between them; upload and manage images and videos; read supported post and account analytics; read platform playbooks; check account connection health and disconnect accounts; and get account connection and credit purchase links. The reference at https://api.lots.social/docs is generated from the live registry, for current endpoints and request fields.
Do I need a subscription to use the API or MCP server?
No. Pick a plan for a fixed monthly price, or pay per connected account with LotsTech Credits, charged daily on what you hold; a credits-only customer has no subscription at all. Media storage is free. Purchased credits never expire.
Which social networks can I publish to?
Twelve: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Reddit and Google Business.
Can an agent publish without my approval?
It schedules what you ask it to; approval state can be set on a post, but it is not enforced at publish time. To review first, have your agent create drafts: drafts never publish, and only a post with a scheduled time goes out. Captions and media are validated before a post is scheduled, on the API and MCP exactly as in the dashboard.
